Does ForeverMail sell its members lists? Will you share my confidential information?
NO.  We do not sell, share or give away information about our subscribers.

Will I receive any unsolicited mailings from ForeverMail?
No.  We will send you billing and renewal notices, and the very occassional update about how to use our services and website. We may also send required administrative notices to Custom Domain owners.

What about spamming?
We at ForeverMail believe that the sending of unsolicited email is intrusive and annoying. It burdens the Internet with excessive traffic. Spamming costs all of us, but it costs very little to the spammer. If we let spammers have their way, we will find that our important e-mail is lost in a sea of spam. We don't tolerate spammers, and will not hesitate to terminate the account of any of our subscribers who sends unsolicited bulk e-mail. If you witness an incident of spamming by a ForeverMail subscriber, please report it to abuse@forevermail.com (including the full headers and text of the message).

In support of efforts to make the Internet free of spam, ForeverMail has a complete no-spamming policy. This means that:

ForeverMail will not send unsolicited e-mail to your address. We send billing and renewal notices, and the occassional updates when we add new features to our service or have other important announcements.

ForeverMail will not sell or give your e-mail address or personal information to anyone. Period.

ForeverMail will not tolerate spamming by its subscribers. As per the ForeverMail Terms and Conditions Agreement that our subscribers agree to when they subscribe, subscribers who spam are subject to having their ForeverMail memberships revoked without refund.

ForeverMail will not resort to spamming in order to advertise its services. We are completely against spamming in all of its forms. You should be suspicious of any service which spams, yet claims to have a no-spamming policy. You can support us in our efforts to be spam-free by telling everyone you know about our great service

I own a domain name, and I'd like use it with your forwarding services. Can I do that?
Yes you can. We call it "importing" your domain.  Once we import the domain, we can provide all our forwarding services for it.  You can learn all the details about domain importing here.

Do you host web sites?
No.  We provide forwarding services only.

Can you forward email from my current provider to a new provider?
No. Oh, believe us, we wish that we could. But no one can forward e-mail for a domain except for the organization that handles the e-mail for that domain. So, if you are currently receiving e-mail at you@yourISP.com, then only your ISP's mail handlers have the capability of forwarding the mail. No one else can. It's similar to the way our postal system currently works. Say your friend lived in San Francisco, CA, and moved to Boston, MA, leaving a forwarding address with the San Francisco post office. If you write to your friend at his former San Francisco address, it must go through San Francisco before it goes to Boston -- it won't go straight to Boston. Same thing with e-mail. E-mail addressed to yourISP.com goes to yourISP.com, so only yourISP.com can forward it.

So, what are your options, and how can we help? Well, one option is to just stay with your current provider, but presumably, you wouldn't be asking this question if you were happy with your current provider. There is a possibility that your current provider itself offers forwarding, either on a short-term or permanent basis. You'd have to contact your provider to find out if it offers these services. If it does, you could have it forward your mail to a ForeverMail address, and gradually wean your correspondents off your current address to your ForeverMail address.

If your provider doesn't offer forwarding, and you want to change providers, you will eventually be faced with the hassles of having to change your e-mail address. Unfortunately, there is no way around this. But your best bet is to make your new address a ForeverMail address, so that you will never have to go through this hassle again. ForeverMail allows you to change your provider as often as you want, without ever having to change your e-mail address. You'll need to let your contacts know about your new e-mail address this once, but with a ForeverMail address, this is the last time you'll have to do it.

Can people still e-mail me at the address I have been using?
Yes. If you have been receiving mail at you@yourISP.com, you will still be able to receive mail at that address. However, we recommend that you tell all your friends and associates to e-mail you at your ForeverMail address. That way, when you change jobs or e-mail providers, you will still be able to receive your mail.
