Outlook Express
Outlook
Eudora

If you are using AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail or WebTV, you cannot change the "From" address.

If you use the Microsoft Outlook Express program:

      1. In the "Tools" menu, choose Accounts...
      2. Click on the Mail tab, and then highlight the account you want to change
      3. Click the Properties button
      4. Click the General tab (it should already be on top, anyway.)
      5. Change the E-Mail Address and the Reply Address to your ForeverMail address
      6. Click the OK button.  Then click the Close button.

NOTE: If you need to use our SMTP (outgoing) server, follow steps 1-3 above, then:

      4. Click on the Servers tab.
      5. Change the "Outgoing Mail (SMTP):" field to our SMTP server name.
      6. Click the OK button.  Then click the Close button.

If you use the Microsoft Outlook 2000 program:

      1. In the Tools menu, choose Services
      2. In the Services section (you should be there), highlight "Internet E-Mail" and click the Add button.  (To modify an existing profile, highlight that profile and click the Properties button. Then go to step 5.)
      3. On the Add Service to Profile dialog box, select "Internet E-Mail" and click OK.
      4. On the Add Mail Account dialog box, enter the appropriate information in every field in the General section.  The E-Mail Address and Reply Address should be your ForeverMail address.
      5. Click on the Servers tab, complete that section exactly as you have it set up for your ISP mail account. The Incoming Mail (POP) and Outgoing Mail (SMTP) should be the server names provided by your ISP. The Account Name and Password should be those provided by your ISP. NOTE: If you need to use our
SMTP (outgoing) server, then enter our SMTP server name in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) field.
      6. Click on the Connection tab and set up the options appropriately (that is, the same as you have done before.)
      7. Click the Apply button.
      8. Click the OK button.
      9. Restart Outlook.

After you have set up your profile(s) this way, you can change them by using the Tools/Options/Mail Services menu from within Outlook.  If you select the option to "Prompt for a profile" at startup, then each time you start Outlook you can choose which profile to use.

If you use the Qualcomm Eudora program:

Using the ForeverMail SMTP server

As a spam prevention measure, some ISPs (including us) will not send mail through their SMTP servers unless it is "From" an address they have provided.  So when you try to send mail "From" your ForeverMail address, it will be rejected. In this case, you should use the ForeverMail SMTP server. Please e-mail us for the server to use.
